In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Edison Chargers baseball team scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Ottawa Hills Green Bears.
The Chargers (23-8) will now prepare for their game against Roger Bacon (Cincinnati, OH). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 20-7 record. In their last game, Roger Bacon tipped Northeastern (Springfield, OH), 6-3, in a non-league game.
