Pella Dutch (Pella, IA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Dutch confront the Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, June 4. Pella will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 18-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Newton (Newton, IA).
The Tigers now have a 11-1 record.
