The Gilford Golden Eagles softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Newport Tigers to 5 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Gilford moves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH) to clash with the Saints in a non-league game on Wednesday, June 7. The Saints come into the game with a record of 3-1. St. Thomas Aquinas won 6-2 in their recent non-league game against Somersworth (Somersworth, NH)
