Highland Bulldogs (Highland, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL), 6-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 29-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Lemont (Lemont, IL) to battle the Lemont HS in a non-league test on Friday, June 7. The Lemont HS come into the test with a record of 30-9. Lemont won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against De La Salle (Chicago, IL)
With the defeat, Mahomet-Seymour falls to 28-9 on the season.
