The Twin Cedars Sabers softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Davis County Mustangs to 2 in the Sabers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Twin Cedars moves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Sabers host Moravia (Moravia, IA) to clash with the Mohawks in a non-league game on Tuesday, June 4. The Mohawks come into the game with a record of 4-8. Moravia lost 8-7 in their recent non-league game against Central Decatur (Leon, IA)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, June 4. Davis County will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Chiefs come into the game with a 3-1 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA).
