The Tahanto Regional Stags routed the visiting Mystic Valley Regional Eagles softball squad by a count of 8-1 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Stags (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Maynard (Maynard, MA). The Tigers go into the Midland-Wachusett D battle with a 14-7 record. In their last battle, Maynard nudged Mohawk Trail Regional (Buckland, MA), 12-0, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now sport a 16-6 record.
