New York High School Softball - Peru bounces Franklin Academy

The Peru Nighthawks softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Franklin Academy Huskies to 8 in the Nighthawks non-league win on Tuesday.

The Nighthawks now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maine-Endwell for a non-league battle on Saturday, June 7. Peru will confront a Spartans team coming off a 14-11 non-league win over Chenango Valley (Binghamton, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Franklin Academy moves to 1-4 on the season.
