Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Salem Academy Crusaders (Salem, OR), 10-4 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Grant Union improves its record to 11-6 on the year. The Prospectors travel to Weston-McEwen/Griswold (Athena, OR) to face the Tiger Scots in a non-league game on Friday, June 6. The Tiger Scots enter the game with a record of 17-3. Weston-McEwen/Griswold won 2-1 in their recent non-league game against North Douglas (Drain, OR)
The Crusaders now hold a 18-4 record.
