The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA) and the host Indianola Indians (Indianola, IA), saw Johnston's softball squad achieve victory over Indianola by a count of 9-0.
The Dragons now sport a 24-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Dodge for a non-league match on Wednesday, July 5.
With the loss, Indianola falls to 25-11 on the campaign. The Indians host Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Monday, July 3. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 16-13.
