The New London Tigers (New London, IA) baseball trounced the visiting Lone Tree Lions (Lone Tree, IA), 16-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they host Wapello for a non-league challenge on Saturday, July 5. New London will clash with a Indians team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Highland (Riverside, IA). The Indians record now stands at 2-16.
With the defeat, Lone Tree drops to 7-13 on the year. The Lions travel to Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA) to clash with the Wolves in a SE IA Super - North challenge on Tuesday, July 1. The Wolves go into the challenge with a record of 4-12.
