Iowa High School Softball - Hillcrest Academy sneaks past West Burlington

In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Hillcrest Academy Ravens softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the West Burlington Falcons.
The Ravens (9-8) will now prepare for their match against Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA). The Falcons come into the SE IA Super - North match with a 23-5 record. In their last match, Louisa-Muscatine nipped Columbus (Columbus Junction, IA), 9-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, July 1. West Burlington will attempt to better on its 14-14 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 5-25 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Independence (Independence, IA).
