Iowa High School Softball - Lincoln knocked off by Underwood

The Underwood Eagles overwhelmed the host Lincoln Lynx softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Woodbury Central Wildcats (Moville, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, July 1. Underwood will attempt to upgrade on its 9-21 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 14-8 record after their 5-2 league win over Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA).

The Lynx (5-22) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA). The Crusaders go into the Missouri River challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Bishop Heelan Catholic defeated Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA), 4-1, in a non-league game.
