The Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays routed the visiting Alburnett Pirates softball squad by a count of 8-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Bluejays (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Knoxville (Knoxville, IA). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Knoxville nudged Washington (Washington, IA), 12-0, in a non-league battle.
The Pirates now sport a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Marquette for a non-league battle on Monday, June 6. Alburnett will meet a Mohawks squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Mohawks record now stands at 1-1.
