The MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen (Orange City, IA) softball nipped the visiting Kingsley-Pierson Panthers (Kingsley, IA), 5-4 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Dutchmen (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Sheldon (Sheldon, IA). The Orabs go into the non-league bout with a 6-1 record.
The Panthers now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto for a non-league bout on Monday, June 6. Kingsley-Pierson will confront a Rams squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA). The Rams record now stands at 6-3.
