Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Vergennes Commodores (Vergennes, VT) and the visiting Oxbow Olympians (Bradford, VT), saw Vergennes's baseball squad knock off Oxbow by a count of 15-5.
The Commodores (5-12) will now prepare for their match against Thetford Academy (Thetford, VT). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 9-5 record. In their last match, Thetford Academy was overwhelmed by North Country Union (Newport, VT), 12-7, in a non-league match.
