The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA) and the visiting North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA), saw Jesup's softball squad nip North Butler by a count of 5-2.

The J-Hawks now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sumner-Fredericksburg for a North Iowa Cedar - East match on Thursday, June 6.

With the loss, North Butler falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to West Fork (Sheffield, IA) to face the Warhawks in a Top of Iowa-East match on Wednesday, June 5. The Warhawks enter the match with a record of 5-4.
