The Kingsley-Pierson Panthers (Kingsley, IA) softball routed the host Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union Royals (Marcus, IA), 13-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against West Monona (Onawa, IA). The Spartans go into the Western Valley bout with a 9-2 record. In their last bout, West Monona notched a victory over Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA), 13-3, in a non-league bout.

The Royals now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host George-Little Rock for a War Eagle bout on Wednesday, June 5. Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 13-4 league loss to Trinity Christian (Hull, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-4.
