Essex Hornets (Essex Junction, VT) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Brattleboro Bears (Brattleboro, VT), 8-4 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Essex moves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT) to confront the Hilltoppers in a non-league match on Saturday, June 7. The Hilltoppers come into the match with a record of 11-2. St. Johnsbury Academy won 12-2 in their recent non-league match against Rutland (Rutland, VT)
The Bears now possess a 8-7 record.
