The St. John's Prep Eagles baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Wachusett Regional Mountaineers to 2 in the Eagles non-league win on Wednesday.

The Eagles now hold a 14-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. John's for a Catholic test on Sunday, June 8. St. John's Prep will play a Pioneers team coming off a 15-8 league win over Boston College High (Boston, MA). The Pioneers record now stands at 17-4.

With the defeat, Wachusett Regional drops to 11-11 on the year.
