Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT) and the visiting Branford Hornets (Branford, CT), witnessed East Lyme's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Branford by a count of 11-7.

The Vikings (16-3) will now prepare for their contest against Guilford (Guilford, CT). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Guilford nipped Watertown (Watertown, CT), 21-1, in a non-league contest.

This game is a part of the 2025 CIAC Boys Lacrosse State Championship (Connecticut) - Class M tournament
