The Newtown Nighthawks lacrosse squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting Farmington River Hawks to 10 in the Nighthawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Nighthawks now hold a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ludlowe for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 7. Newtown will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 20-1 non-league win over Windsor (Windsor, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 13-5.

With the loss, Farmington falls to 6-4 on the year.
