The Hawley Nuggets edged the visiting Jackson County Central Huskies softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Nuggets meet the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (St. Cloud, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, June 6. Hawley will attempt to upgrade on its 20-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 34-5 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Randolph (Randolph, MN).
The Huskies (19-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Randolph (Randolph, MN). The Rockets enter the non-league challenge with a 22-2 record. In their last challenge, Randolph edged Esko (Esko, MN), 9-1, in a non-league challenge.
