In Wednesday's non-league match, the host St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders softball team scored a tight 8-6 win over the Randolph Rockets.
The Crusaders (34-5) will now prepare for their match against Hawley (Hawley, MN). The Nuggets come into the non-league match with a 20-1 record. In their last match, Hawley nipped Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN), 2-1, in a non-league match.
