Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Philipsburg-Osceola sneaks past Avonworth

The Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) baseball nipped the visiting Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA), 4-3 in Monday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Mountaineers play the Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, June 8. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to better on its 17-7 season record. The Chucks enter the contest with a 19-2 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Neshannock (New Castle, PA).

The Antelopes now sport a 18-7 record.
