The B-G-M Bears softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Belle Plaine Plainsmen to 3 in the Bears league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, B-G-M improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Bears host Sigourney (Sigourney, IA) to clash with the Savages in a South Iowa Cedar game on Friday, June 7. The Savages come into the game with a record of 10-3. Sigourney won 7-3 in their recent non-league game against Cardinal (Eldon, IA)

In their next game, the Plainsmen clash with the North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar game, on Friday, June 7. Belle Plaine will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record.
