The Mediapolis Bulldogs softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Columbus Wildcats to 5 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Mediapolis improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to West Burlington (West Burlington, IA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league game on Friday, June 7. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 9-0. West Burlington won 15-2 in their recent non-league game against Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves (Winfield, IA) in a SE IA Super - North game, on Friday, June 7. Columbus will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Wolves come into the game with a 2-4 record after their 14-0 league loss to Highland (Riverside, IA).
