Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Postville Pirates (Postville, IA), 19-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Denver for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 7. Turkey Valley will face a Cyclones squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Postville falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Kee (Lansing, IA) to face the Kee Hawks in a Upper Iowa challenge on Monday, June 10. The Kee Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-7.
