The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ) and the host Colonia Patriots (Colonia, NJ), saw South Plainfield's baseball team get by Colonia by a tally of 5-4.
The Tigers (18-9) will now prepare for their battle against Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 13-10 record. In their last battle, Morris Knolls held off Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
