Derryfield Cougars (Manchester, NH) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Fall Mountain Wildcats (Langdon, NH), 6-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Derryfield advances its record to 15-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to Belmont (Belmont, NH) to battle the Red Raiders in a non-league match on Saturday, June 7. The Red Raiders come into the match with a record of 17-1. Belmont won 10-3 in their recent league match against White Mountains (Whitefield, NH)

The Wildcats now have a 12-8 record.
