The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA) and the visiting Emmetsburg E'Hawks (Emmetsburg, IA), observed North Iowa's softball team get by Emmetsburg by a tally of 8-2.

The Bison (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA). The Broncos go into the Top of Iowa-West bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Belmond-Klemme was routed by North Union (Armstrong, IA), 8-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the E'Hawks clash with the St. Mary's Hawks (Remsen, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, June 6. Emmetsburg will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 8-3 league win over West Sioux (Hawarden, IA).
