Orcutt Academy Spartans (Orcutt, CA) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Hueneme Vikings (Oxnard, CA), 10-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Orcutt Academy improves its record to 17-11 on the year. The Spartans travel to Rancho Mirage (Rancho Mirage, CA) to play the Rattlers in a non-league game on Saturday, June 7. The Rattlers enter the game with a record of 21-10. Rancho Mirage won 9-5 in their recent non-league game against Culver City (Culver City, CA)

The Vikings now hold a 12-15 record.
