The Mount St. Dominic Academy Lions edged the visiting Immaculate Heart Academy Blue Eagles softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Donovan Catholic Griffins (Toms River, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, June 11. Mount St. Dominic Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 22-3 season record. The Griffins enter the challenge with a 26-1 record after their 8-4 non-league win over St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ).
