Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Central Catholic Raiders (Lawrence, MA) and the visiting Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA), witnessed Central Catholic's softball squad tip Braintree by a count of 5-2.

The Raiders now sport a 12-7 record. They play next when they host North Andover for a non-league match on Tuesday, June 7. Central Catholic will face a Scarlet Knights squad coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Beverly (Beverly, MA). The Scarlet Knights record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Braintree moves to 10-12 on the season.
