Virginia High School Baseball - Middlesex gets by Riverheads

Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Middlesex upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Chargers travel to Lebanon (Lebanon, VA) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league test on Friday, June 9. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 24-2. Lebanon won 16-0 in their recent non-league test against Narrows (Narrows, VA)
With the defeat, Riverheads falls to 14-7 on the season.
