Orono Riots (Orono, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Orono upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Riots travel to Bucksport (Bucksport, ME) to battle the Golden Bucks in a non-league test on Thursday, June 8. The Golden Bucks come into the test with a record of 10-7. Bucksport lost 11-4 in their recent league test against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME)
With the defeat, Mount View drops to 9-9 on the campaign.
