The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Independence (Ashburn, VA) and the visiting Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA), saw Independence's soccer squad triumph over Freeman by a count of 6-0.
The now hold a 20-1 record. They play next when they travel to First Colonial for a non-league test on Friday, June 9. Independence will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 16-2.
With the loss, Freeman drops to 12-6 on the season.
