Virginia High School Softball - Rye Cove bounces Grayson County

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Rye Cove Eagles (Clinchport, VA) and the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), witnessed Rye Cove's softball squad prevail over Grayson County by a count of 11-1.

The Eagles now sport a 26-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lunenburg Central for a non-league match on Friday, June 9. Rye Cove will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Chincoteague (Chincoteague, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 17-3.

With the loss, Grayson County moves to 13-15 on the season.
