Virginia High School Softball - John Battle can't hold off James River

The James River Knights softball squad scored 3 runs and restricted the visiting John Battle Trojans to 2 in the Knights non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 23-1 record. They play next when they travel to King William for a non-league match on Friday, June 9. James River will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Strasburg (Strasburg, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 24-2.

With the loss, John Battle moves to 12-14 on the season.
