In Thursday's non-league contest, the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Saegertown Panthers (Saegertown, PA), by a margin of 5-0.

With the triumph, Neshannock moves its record to 27-0 on the year. The Lancers travel to Laurel (New Castle, PA) to play the Spartans in a non-league test on Monday, June 10. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 11-3. Laurel won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Bentworth (Bentleyville, PA)
