The Woodbine Tigers (Woodbine, IA) softball routed the host Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA), 13-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Tigers (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against West Monona (Onawa, IA). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 11-2 record. In their last bout, West Monona toppled Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA), 14-0, in a league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove for a Western Valley bout on Monday, June 10. Westwood will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 12-1 league loss to Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-9.
