The Van Meter Bulldogs (Van Meter, IA) baseball trounced the host A-D-M Tigers (Adel, IA), 8-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carlisle for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 7. Van Meter will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 7-1 league win over A-D-M (Adel, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-5.
With the defeat, A-D-M drops to 4-8 on the year. The Tigers host Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA) to clash with the Bluejays in a Raccoon River challenge on Monday, June 9. The Bluejays go into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Bondurant-Farrar won 17-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA)
