Iowa High School Baseball - Winterset defeats Lincoln

In Friday's non-league game, the host Winterset Huskies baseball team scored a close 10-5 win over the Lincoln Railsplitters.
The Huskies (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Gilbert (Gilbert, IA). The Tigers go into the Raccoon River game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Gilbert was overwhelmed by Mason City (Mason City, IA), 11-8, in a non-league game.
Next, the Railsplitters play the Marshalltown Bobcats (Marshalltown, IA) in a non-league game, on Monday, June 9. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Bobcats go into the game with a 3-8 record after their 13-6 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA).
