The Monticello Panthers nipped the visiting Maquoketa Valley Wildcats baseball squad by a score of 5-4 in Friday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Panthers battle the West Branch Bears (West Branch, IA) in a River Valley - South outing, on Monday, June 9. Monticello will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Bears come into the outing with a 1-10 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Camanche (Camanche, IA).
