The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA) and the visiting Estherville Lincoln Central Midgets (Estherville, IA), observed Carlisle's softball team notch a victory over Estherville Lincoln Central by a tally of 11-2.

The Wildcats (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Johnston (Johnston, IA). The Dragons go into the non-league bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Johnston gained a win over Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA), 12-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Midgets battle the Audubon Wheelers (Audubon, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, June 7. Estherville Lincoln Central will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Wheelers go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 4-0 league loss to Treynor (Treynor, IA).
