Next, the Wildcats play the North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, June 7. Riceville will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 13-1 league loss to Osage (Osage, IA).

The Wolverines (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA). The Bears enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, B-G-M overcame English Valleys (North English, IA), 14-6, in a league challenge.
