The Pocahontas Indians softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans to 1 in the Indians league win on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Sac County for a Twin Lakes battle on Monday, June 9. Pocahontas will confront a Raiders team coming off a 8-0 league win over Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire moves to 4-4 on the season. The Titans host Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union (Marcus, IA) to confront the Royals in a non-league battle on Saturday, June 7. The Royals come into the battle with a record of 6-0. Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union won 8-0 in their recent non-league battle against Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA)
