Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Sequoits now own a 29-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lemont for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 10. Antioch will face a Lemont HS squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Metamora (Metamora, IL). The Lemont HS record now stands at 32-6.

With the loss, Kaneland falls to 14-12 on the campaign.
