Turners Falls Thunder (Montague, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bourne Canalmen (Bourne, MA), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Thunder now own a 14-9 record. They take the field next when they host Millis for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 10. Turners Falls will face a Mohawks squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Narragansett Regional (Baldwinville, MA). The Mohawks record now stands at 10-10.

With the loss, Bourne falls to 6-14 on the campaign.
