Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Southern Aroostook Warriors (Dyer Brook, ME) and the host Jonesport-Beals Royals (Jonesport, ME), witnessed Southern Aroostook's softball squad prevail over Jonesport-Beals by a count of 24-14.

The Warriors now sport a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hodgdon for a non-league match on Thursday, June 9. Southern Aroostook will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 15-1 non-league win over Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Jonesport-Beals moves to 1-9 on the season.
