University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Harper Woods Pioneers (Harper Woods, MI), 15-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, University Liggett upgrades its record to 23-10 on the season. The Knights travel to Riverview (Riverview, MI) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Saturday, June 10. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 20-10. Riverview won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Huron (New Boston, MI)
With the defeat, Harper Woods falls to 3-15 on the season.
